For more than 40 years, we\u2019ve prided ourselves on providing excellent service and building long-term relationships with our clients and partners. In an ever-changing and competitive market, Johnstone\u2019s Benefits has decided to join People Corporation, an industry change-maker.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our clients will benefit<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>People Corporation is the right fit \u2013 the \u2018right\u2019 benefits partner for Johnstone\u2019s Benefits and our clients. We truly believe that with People Corporation, we have the opportunity to deliver even more to our clients and to the group benefits market.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A reminder of our full services suite<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Beyond the news of now being powered by People Corporation, it\u2019s a good opportunity to remind you of our suite of services, and what we see as trending in group benefits.<\/p>\n<p>As employers pay for the basics, such as health benefits and insurance, it is expected that employees will increasingly want to personalize their group benefits package to meet their family\u2019s needs. With our current technologies, employer dollars for such programs we already offer our clients are easily administered:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>healthcare and flexible spending accounts, supporting health, wellness including mental health services<\/li>\n<li>group savings and pension plans such as group RRSPs, group TFSAs<\/li>\n<li>protection programs such as additional life insurance, critical illness, individual disability, and accidental death and dismemberment plans<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>JUST A REMINDER\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Be sure to update Salaries<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cEarnings\u201d are defined in the policy document \u2013 often as \u201cregular\u201d monthly earnings. However, the definition can include commission and other forms of income, but typically does not include dividends or overtime.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEarnings\u201d are used for life insurance and disability claims.
